Typical Testing Time: 1 Year
Level 1: Count to 10 in korean
1 - Hana
4 - Net
9 - Ahope
10 - Yul
Level 2: Memorize the combinations (videos below)
Level 3: Be able to defend a wall takedown with underhooks and execute a front and back sweep after catching a kick
These are the requirements for our adults going from white - grey.
Typical training time: 6 Months
Memorize all 4 of these combinations:

In addition, you must have a minimum of 10 sparring sessions where you can execute proper defense and technical precision from strikes such as slips, rolls, blocks, parrys and are able to keep proper form when executing counter strikes.

Typical Testing Time: 6 Months of Training
Level 1: Memorize 1-5 in Korean (video below on pronunciation)
3 - Set
5 - Tasut (sounds like toss it)
Level 2: They must show an adequate amount of defense when sparring on a consistent basis.
Keeping hands up when throwing strikes
Knowing the proper execution of blocks
Not "swimming" after punches
Knowing how to properly turn the hips for round kicks
Level 3: Memorize the Cowboy Combination and
Know how to escape the clinch

Step 2: Lace the arms through the middle to put the opponent in a clinch
